Not too long ago, aerial footage was cost prohibitive and for many just simply unattainable. Just a few minutes of decent footage would cost you a small fortune and the hassle of renting a helicopter (or similar aircraft), expensive camera equipment and a crew to put the whole thing together. In 2014, with a bit of imagination, ingenuity and a ton of technology, a small group of photographers, designers and technologists got together and combined the latest video and aero-robotics technology to produce breathtaking aerial imaging. We call ourselves Miami Drones and we specialize in unconventional aerial imaging using drones for real estate. Miami Drones is currently in the process of filing for an exception from the FAA's ban on commercial drone use and intends to become the first South Florida company to obtain FAA permission to use drones for aerial photography.
