PWRstation

PWRstation solves two problems : 1) Solar PV installations remain expensive. This is not due to the cost of panels, which have significantly decreased over the last year, but rather due to what the PV industry refers to as hardware cost (not the panels) and soft cost (system design, installation labor, etc.) 2) There are many reports of safety concerns during fires across the US, specifically in CA & NJ. The National Fire Protection Association is getting involved. Besides the 25% reduction in installation costs versus current market pricing, the PWRstation ( patent pending) provides more room to operate as it is connected to the fire alarm system and folds automatically in case of a fire. The PWRstation is the only "firefighter friendly" solar PV system available today as there are no electrocution risks. When the panels are folded they are enclosed in a ceramic non-flammable housing and any electricity production is halted.
